S. B. Patil Institute of Management organized its 6th Alumni meet “Convergence 2018” for the Alumni students of the past seven batches on 24th February 2018 at SBPIM, Seminar Hall, 5.30PM Onwards.
Mr. Shyam Shelke, Secretary of Alumni Association of SBPIM and Prof. Anishkumar Karia, Treasurer Alumni Association of SBPIM was felicitated by Dr. Daniel Penkar, Director, SBPIM.
In the welcome speech of Dr. Daniel Penkar, Director of SBPIM. Sir expresses his gratitude towards all alumni for coming to alumni meet inspite of their busy corporate and personal schedule. Dr, Daniel Penkar Sir also highlighted the remarkable contribution of some distinguished alumni, like Shyam Shelke & Isha Bhatia. He appealed the alumni to keep visiting SBPIM and guide and share their experiences from the corporate world with the faculties and students.
Dr. Daniel Penkar Sir announces about Election of Presidents and Secretory position of Alumni Association of SBPIM, as the President Ms. Shreya Patil completed her 5 year of presidential tenure, also Mr Shyam Shelke completed his 5 year of Secretarial tenure.
All present Alumni’s were asked to nominate their name for President and secretory post of Alumni Association of SBPIM, Ms. Isha Bhatia and Ms. Shyam Shelke were unanimously as President and Secretory.
During the event a dance was performed by MBA 1st year students.
Mr. Shyam Shelke threw light upon the wide scope available for the freshers to bag opportunities of employment and entrepreneurship which he has found on his multiple interactions with industries in the past.
He also requested all the alumni to ask their employer to offer jobs to SBPIM or atleast offer Summer Internship to one student, this way we all will help the new generation and payback something to our almamatter.

The alumni also joined and enjoyed the same. 112 alumni were present in the event. The program was followed by networking dinner, during which all the alumni meet their Teachers and friends all were able to relive the memories and rejoice their past days at SBPIM. As a token of love a memento was gifted to alumni.
