At SBPIM, students are engaged round the year to develop themselves. They take initiatives for planning and organizing activities like Yuvotsav, Zing, Sports, Institute Social Responsibility etc. that gives them competitive edge and helps them to learn management and administrative skills outside the classroom as well and enhance their personality & organization skills.
SBPIM students organize an intercollegiate sports event Yuvotsav every year in the college premises. The event has Sports activities like Football, Basketball, Volleyball etc. where colleges from Pune region are invited to participate. The event proved as a grand success with the response of approx. 500 students from different colleges took part in the event.
The ZING: SBPIM Cultural Fest, an intra-college event organized every year with the objective of developing the extra-curricular and cultural talents of the students, improve their capabilities to work in a team and raise their level of self-confidence in interacting with fellow students and peers. It proved successfully and undoubtedly appreciated amongst the students and staff.
In Zing, competitions like Business Plan, Case study, Management quiz, Mock Stock, 1Minute Manager, Mad Ads etc.
Cultural competitions like Bollywood Quiz , Creative cooking without fire, Mehendi, Tatoo Making, Paper Dress Designing, Singing, Dance Competition, Fashion Show.
"ZING FUNFAIR" organized where food, game and music stalls were put by the students which provided a platform to learn business.

Sports Week is organized every year. It includes both indoor and outdoor games like Cricket, Football, Basketball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis and Badminton for Boys and Girls.
Every year it serves as a platform to highlight the literary and artistic efforts of students. It highlights the educational, cultural, summary of events, albums, arts, photographs and sports activities of SBPIM Institute.
