SBPIM STUDENT COUNCIL 2023-24

The List of Elected and Selected Student Council Members: AY 2023-24

SBPIM promotes students to work at various teams, encouraging them to participate in the decision making process. This helps students to learn management and administrative skills outside the classroom too, enhancing their personality and organization skills.

STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS

STUDENT COUNCIL EVENTS

1. ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT (ED)

Event is conducted to promote and encourage the innovative ideas in the minds of students.

2. CORPORATE TO CAMPUS (C2C)

Corporates are invited is to bridge the gap between the academia and the corporate.

3. CULTURAL

Event is an attempt to capture the vibrant persona of the students by offering them a platform to showcase their inner musicians, dancers, actors, painters, writers, photographers and dreamers.

4. CONVERGENCE- ALUMNI NETWORK COMMITTEE

Event is organized with the objective to provide platform where Alumni interact with current students to share their experience of the corporate world.

5. SPORTS

The sports team provides opportunities for students to play practice and participate in various sports events. They organize various tournaments throughout the year, ranging across all indoor to outdoor sports.


STUDENT COUNCIL FUNCTIONS

6. INSTITUTE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (ISR)

Institute Social Responsibility team was established with the objectives to enrich society. SBPIM keep strong belief of being a responsible and caring citizen.

7. PLACEMENT

The placement team is set up to provide the assistance for placement related activity and to assist and conduct for placement drive.

8. CAREER GUIDANCE AND GROOMING

This team organizes the programs to create awareness about the importance of higher studies, competitive examination and skills required for the employment.

9. MEDIA

The team functions for publishing college magazine “ACCOLADE” and provide opportunity to showcase their creativity.

10. CONNECT SBPIM: CLASS REPRESENTATIVE

This team has elected representatives from every class with purpose of build vigorous relationship between faculty members and students. This team works to improve domain knowledge of students and to create a learning environment that helps to develop the skill sets of the students.

11. YOGA & WELLNESS

The objective of this team is to make a stress-free and happy campus community using ancient powerful practices of yoga and meditation. This club officially launched on 3rd International Day of Yoga (21st June 2017). Since then the club is actively conducting sessions on yoga and meditation.

12. INTER-COLLEGIATE COMPETITION

Member of this team promotes students to participate at various platforms provided by other institute in form of cultural, sports and management events. As future management leaders it is excellent platforms for students to refine their ideas, expand their networks, and learn about their business venture from another perspective.


ACADEMIC AND ADVISORY BODIES

13. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE (STUDENT)

As per the rules and regulations addressed by the AICTE / UGC / SPPU, for student, Technical Institution, “Grievance Redressal Committee has been constituted where students are representatives’ along with the staff members to enquire the nature and extent of grievance.

14. INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMITTEE

NAAC proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an institution’s system and work towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. It cell comprises of faculty members and students representative and other members.

15. STUDENT COUNCIL

A Student Council is formed it is a representative structure for students only, through which they can become involved in the affairs of the institution, working in partnership with college management, staff and parents for the benefit of the institution and its students.

16. ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE

In tune with the policy to ensure completely ragging free environment in the campus and in compliance with the letter from UGC from time to time, Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted at the beginning of every academic year. It comprises of faculty members, students from the fresher’s category as well as seniors and selected non-teaching staff as nominated by the Director.

17. EXTENSION COMMITTEE

Encourage students to take responsibility and initiatives in the Social Segment and for the betterment of the Society. A series of activities are planned which will be helpful for the society as a whole and create a holistic development by sensitizing students towards Health, Gender and Environmental matters.

18. LIBRARY COMMITTEE

This Committee aim to make available books demanded by students and faculties create reading culture in the institute by organizing book exhibitions.

19. INDUSTRY INTERACTION COMMITTEE

The purpose of the cell is to find out the gap between need of the industry and end product of the institute. The cell is the bridge between the industry, the real world and the institute.

20. CO-CURRICULAR COMMITTEE

Co-curricular activities aim at cultivating students’ all-round development. Through participating in diversified extra-curricular activities, students’ potential are developed. Co-curricular activities like group discussions, elocution contests, business quizzes, class presentation, debates, inter-institute competitions etc are regularly held to stimulate the thinking process and form an integral part of the holistic personality development of the students.
