Mrs. Swati Satpute is an accomplished academic librarian with over 16 years of experience in library and information science. She currently serves as the Librarian at Pimpri-Chinchwad Education Trust's S. B. Patil Institute of Management (SBPIM), Nigdi, and Pune. She has qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET) and is approved as a Librarian by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
Her expertise includes academic library administration, digital library management, institutional repositories, e-resources, information literacy, research support, and the implementation of emerging technologies in library services. She is passionate about creating innovative, user-centric library environments that enhance teaching, learning, and research.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Satpute has actively contributed to the modernization of academic libraries by implementing digital initiatives, promoting resource accessibility, and supporting faculty and students with scholarly information services. Her research interests include library automation, knowledge management, sustainable library practices, and the integration of technology in higher education.
She believes that libraries are catalysts for lifelong learning and that librarians play a pivotal role in connecting people with knowledge, empowering research, and fostering academic excellence through collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional development.
